That’s it. Really. Just take it one project, step, cabinet at a time and you will get it all done. I chose to start with my cleaning supplies. It was an easy project to tackle and I felt like I had made a significant change. When you are ready move on to your pantry and fridge and do a little at a time.
When I first started on this journey I was stressed out, nervous, upset and overwhelmed. I want this site to help you through all of these emotions and to let you know you are not alone and to empower you. This is the first step to healing yourself and your entire family. There are no negatives to getting healthier so take your time and know that what you are doing will change your lives for the better.
Take care of YOU. Take breaks and do what you love. Be sure to exercise, listen to music as you clean out the house or catch up with a friend as you are dumping the toxins! I turned to prayer as well. If you are a spiritual person, listen to the voice inside you. Throughout this difficult time in my life where there was so much change and worry, prayer was a constant I could turn to for strength. Some of you will get this from yoga, others from a night out with friends. Whatever it is, make sure you take care of you. There is a reason the airline tells you to put the mask on yourself first before you save the child sitting next to you.
